LOCATION: Boise, Idaho
Will spend 10-15% of their time in the field, mainly in support of staff training events. which may
include travelling within OR, WA, and ID.
 

COMPENSATION: $45,000-$47,000/Annually

POSITION SUMMARY
Northwest Youth Corps runs a full suite of residential and non-residential programs for youth
and young adults in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. The Idaho State Program Manager will
oversee crew operation in the state of Idaho. This position is based in Boise with the flexibility of
25% remote work. The Programs Manager position is primarily an office-based position that
directly supports field programs. The position may require significant local travel to meet with
local partners and PMs also spend 10-15% of their time in the field, mainly in support of staff
training events. The PM reports directly to NYC’s Conservation Corps Director; collaborates
with many departments including: NYC’s Risk Management and Field Training department to
establish and maintain appropriate risk thresholds for NYC programming and plan staff training
and project support, Operations Department to maintain the state’s fleet, equipment and
provisional needs, Finance department to conduct onboarding, timesheets, and other
departmental finance needs. Promote continued organization support of Diversity, Equity, and
Inclusion initiatives. Seek to remove barriers to participation in NYC programs for
underrepresented populations.
