Welcome to the ICC update for the week of 8/11!  

Yellow Crew: Week 4-5: Yellow crew is heading south to spend their last two weeks backcountry with the Ketchum Ranger District in the Sawtooth National Forest. They will be working a trail with spectacular views of the surrounding mountain ranges. No cell service is available. All crews are prepared for an epic eclipse experience, equipped with eclipse glasses and lined up directly in the path to view the full eclipse.  

Orange crew Week 4: Orange Crew will be working a trail that runs along the boundary of the Frank Church Wilderness. They will be in a remote backcountry setting outside Challis, ID working with the Salmon-Challis National Forest. No cell service is available. All crews are prepared for an epic eclipse experience, equipped with eclipse glasses and lined up directly in the path to view the full eclipse.

Blue crew Week 3-5: Blue Crew will be spending the next 3 weeks on the Continental Divide Trail. The Continental Divide runs from Mexico to Canada and hosts a number of through hikers and mountain bikers. The crew will be rerouting some of the steepest sections of the entire trail system. They will be working with the Salmon-Challis National Forest who will be assisting them in completing this 12-mile stretch of trail. The crew will head into the backcountry during week 4 and 5 of the session. No cell service is available. All crews are prepared for an epic eclipse experience, equipped with eclipse glasses and lined up directly in the path to view the full eclipse.

BLP 2 Crew  Week 1-5: Our Backcountry Leadership Program will be spending the next 5 weeks on the Continental Divide Trail. Family Visitation Weekend

There are no more family visitation weekends.

Mail and packages (shoebox size or smaller) will be delivered to crews each Friday.
